
Julia Lloyd

Conservationist, Community Specialist, and Primatologist Julia Lloyd has been in East Africa since 1995, with her vast experience covering a variety of protected areas. From coral reef research to fauna and flora studies, and biodiversity surveys, her understanding of the area makes her an invaluable asset to the team. Heavily involved in both community tourism and wildlife management from a grassroots level, Julia was instrumental in setting up the Ishasha Community Uplift Group which now has a successful community tourism activity, and an even more successful Savings and Credit Scheme. With a BSc in Environmental Conservation and an MSc in Primate Conservation, Julia brings an incredible knowledge of and love for science to Future Generations Trust.
